Last year Travis surprised Rachel with a proposal at the Liberty Memorial with the city lights in the background. This year they’re preparing for their downtown September wedding with a Spring Engagement session in downtown Kansas City. We ventured to the Liberty Memorial, the Nelson Art Museum and back to the Memorial for the sunset. We also just happened to schedule this engagement session during the annular solar eclipse…how fun! Too bad the really cool part of the eclipse was only visible in the Southwest, but it was still a bit romantic around the Memorial as couples and families were setting up blankets and watching the eclipse from the hilltop. It was such a fun afternoon and pleasure to photograph Rachel and Travis.
