• My style as a Kansas City wedding photographer

As a professional Kansas City wedding photographer, I specialize in wedding photography that tells a story. A documentary approach combined with editorial style portraits that belong in a magazine, it’s our signature style of photojournalism.

Using the techniques I learned while obtaining a Photojournalism degree and the experience I’ve gained photographing weddings since 2005, I love to highlight your wedding story, the love that connects you together, and the moments throughout your wedding day. My main goal is to create beautiful photography that can be cherished for generations to come. I want your children and your children’s children to have a sense of who you were on your wedding day.

Our polished photojournalism style and timeless approach has made us top Kansas City wedding photographers with awards from The Knot, Wedding Wire, Two Bright Lights and Be Seen St. Louis. Among several online Real Wedding features, we have been published in The Knot Magazine, KC Weddings Magazine, Perfect Wedding Guide Magazine and Bride Magazine. Check out the Published Page for a full list of online and print publications.

KU Engagement Session + Shannon & Justin

Shannon and Justin are season ticket holders and loyal fans of KU so it was only natural to choose the KU campus for an engagement session.  It may look cold out but, oh wait, yes, it was cold out but the snow looked gorgeous on campus and the session was so fun.  Shannon and Justin are fun-loving and so sweet to each other.  This engagement was a blast.  They even ended the session at the Oread Hotel, where they were staying overnight to attend the basketball game the next day.  Needless to say, my husband was very jealous!  Looking forward to the Winter wedding next month.
