“Heather Brulez is amazing. She is incredibly willing to fulfill the desires of her clients and will give you exactly what you want, whether that be simple, traditional, modern, multiple shooters. I used her for our wedding and am greatly pleased. I mentioned a few shots that I wanted and she pulled them off beyond my expectations. You wouldn’t assume that this petite woman can control crowds, but she is clearly comfortable with politely and firmly keeping large, disparate groups in order and on time for large group portraits, and she is good with children as well. What most impressed me was her speed. She cheerily flits around getting shots from every angle. Not only is she quick at taking photographs, but quick to edit them as well. Our wedding was on a Saturday, and we had our online proofs available to us the following Friday. Also, her eye for detail is great. When there was down time between events, she worked on getting the small details. It seemed she was constantly working.”

“Although we got married in KC, we live in NYC. So, we planned our wedding long distance. We actually met Heather through Skype. We knew instantly that we wanted Heather to be our photographer. Her energy and spirit was contagious. She really listens to what you have to say and is great with suggesting ideas. Heather captured some beautiful moments and details from our wedding. She is well organized and efficient especially when it came to the portrait shots of our families and wedding party. We also had a brief bride and groom session on the rooftop, which ended up being one of our favorite moments of the evening. She is just a lot of fun. With a day that goes by so fast, it’s so nice to have still shots of the love and joy that we shared that day with each other and with our family and friends.
