Katrina and Nick planned a rustic vintage Buffalo Lodge wedding this Fall with roses, baby’s breath and purple stock details from Gregory’s Fine Floral in Prairie Village. The most unique part of a Buffalo Lodge wedding is the buffalo! The Buffalo roam (I couldn’t resist) on the property and, yes, we’re still in Missouri. Katrina is also a photographer so it’s always a huge honor when a peer hires me for their wedding day. It’s also a collaborative effort usually. Katrina had some great ideas for her engagement and wedding photography. She single-handedly planned and styled an enchanted forest engagement session also at Buffalo Lodge last year. One of the images was picked up by Perfect Wedding Guide for their bridal show. This year we were blessed with a beautiful Fall day. Katrina was especially interested in having some sunset portraits with the buffalo herds and using sparklers. Two of my favorites also.
