If you’re looking for a talented bride, look to Alyssa. While finishing her Vet degree at KSU, she also managed to plan an amazing wedding, design and do her own wedding invitations and makes it all look effortless this past year.
Last Fall, I traveled to Manhattan, Kansas to photograph the engagement of Alyssa and Jacob. They met in Manhattan and dated for 5 years before getting engaged so it only made sense to photograph them in their own element. And, after a year of wedding planning, their gorgeous Kansas City wedding finally came together.
Alyssa and Jacob got ready for their wedding day at the Overland Park Sheraton before heading to their Ironwoods Lodge reception location for pre-ceremony wedding portraits. Their pup, Lady, joined us in the most precious way. We then headed out to their wedding ceremony at the Lutheran Church of the Resurrection before going back to Ironwoods Lodge for the reception. The day was laid back and gorgeous. Alyssa was absolutely stunning!

It was a special privilege to have a guest second shooter, the talented, Mike Tsai for their wedding day as well! It is always wonderful working with a fun and sweet couple. When you add in talented and fun wedding professionals, it reminds me how much I love my job.
