I think I know Katie and Scott’s story well. In fact, I’m pretty sure I played out their scenario with barbies when I was a child. Nurse Barbie meets doctor Ken and they live happily ever after. What I love about their own story is how they crushed on each other, became friends and then companions, finally. Their love grew into a relationship that will begin their own generations. And, their wedding day was much more than my 5-year-old self could have imagined at the Hilton President, on the 12th floor, elegant and fun, it was full of happiness, joyful tears and excitement.
Both the bridesmaids, with Katie, and the groomsmen, with Scott, got ready at the Kansas City President Hilton before traveling to Country Club Christian Church for a beautiful and meaningful wedding ceremony. We ventured to the Nelson Art Museum for portraits before going back to their downtown wedding reception.
Katie and Scott, it was such an honor to document your first day as husband and wife and each moment was amazing! Thank you and I hope our paths cross again in the future.
With appreciation,
