This Club 1000 wedding, located in downtown Kansas City, is one of my favorite wedding and reception venues in the city with it’s rooftop access and large windows letting in an amazing amount of natural light. I’m also into the string lights, downtown Kansas City location, and the people. It’s all about the people and Club 1000 is full of wonderful people. One of my most favorite moments with Alison and Ryan on their wedding day and something I will always remember is their wedding party going around in a circle and toasting the happy couple during the downtime waiting to arrive at the reception. Blessed is the marriage with an amazing support group of family and friends and it’s apparent these two are very blessed.
Alison was stunning and elegant and an absolute joy to work with as well. I have no idea what sweet somethings Ryan was whispering in her ear all day but I loved the happy expression that would soon follow for Alison. We ventured to the West Bottoms, Kauffman Gardens and the Nelson for portraits. Alison made sure we had plenty of time to photograph everything during her wedding day giving us enough time to take her gorgeous bridal portraits at those favorite large windows at Club 1000. I felt spoiled getting to photograph such a beautiful bride on her wedding day. It was awesome, as always, having Anne Canon there to shoot with me and couldn’t have done it without her. Thank you Anne!
