Maile, named after the sacred Hawaiian vine, imported those very maile vines into Kansas City for her Groom and his groomsmen on her wedding day. In fact, there are so many personal touches and details that went into Maile and David’s wedding. Maile handmade most of the reception decor.

Maile and David are high school sweethearts. They planned a Catholic wedding ceremony at Good Shepherd in Shawnee, Kansas and a Hawaiian themed wedding reception at the Lodge at Ironwoods Park in Leawood, Kansas. It was a gorgeous day and night! I could have photographed Maile and David portraits for at least a few more hours!
