This Magnolia at Brookside wedding may not have been plan A for Heather and Jeremy but it was definitely plan A+. This new space is gorgeous, inside and out, just like Heather. They had originally planned a May 2020 wedding and we all know how that turned out but this sweet teacher didn’t skip a beat. She turned around and planned her new wedding for exactly five months later in October. One can only imagine how time consuming planning one wedding can be and so I have to applaud this gal for flawlessly planning two in one year. It’s been so impressive to me how resilient my 2020 clients have been. Because at the end of the day, you still get to marry the love of your life. And that was the mentality on this day too. Heather was very respectful to her guests and vendors for the health and safety of all. She move her venue, planned her dinner outside and cut her guest list. WOW.
Our day started in the bridal suite at the Magnolia at Brookside with getting ready images and details. The flowers from the Fiddly Fig were amazing! Heather’s floral vision dreams came true with a beautiful cascading bridal bouquet. Jeremy gifted Heather with her earrings and Heather gifted Jeremy with his classic Tiffany & Co. cuff links. We were all set to head to Loose Park for the some wedding party fun on this Friday afternoon.
Once we were back, mostly family and very close friends, were gathered and waiting for Heather and Jeremy’s outdoor ceremony on the Magnolia at Brookside patio. After the ceremony came one of my favorite parts of the day. Because we had some location and venue changes, Heather and Jeremy legally had to travel to the Kansas side of the border and get married at the First Lutheran Church. They exchanged rings and vows with just their witnesses and pastor on the lawn in front of the stained glass windows. It was relaxed and sentimental!
The party was finally ready for Heather and Jeremy to arrive with an outdoor dinner, toasts and mingling. The night was luckily perfect temperatures and the kids danced the night away. Congratulations, Heather and Jeremy. It may have been delayed but it was every bit of gorgeous and fun. I look forward to seeing your adventures together in the future!
