Laura and Steve’s Terrace on Grand wedding was gorgeous! We started at Laura’s parents home just before the ceremony at St. Elizabeths. Steve’s first breathtaking glance at Laura was as she was walking down the aisle with her Dad. There were many tears in the room. It was a beautiful and heartfelt ceremony.
We had so much fun with this wedding party at Loose Park and Liberty memorial after the ceremony for wedding party portraits. The Kansas City skyline is such an iconic portrait for a wedding day. I also love the blue tile at Liberty Memorial but the Rose Garden was gorgeous this Summer. It was an easy portrait day to say the least. Everyone behaved..lol. But most important, everyone had fun.
Terrace on Grand, in the Crossroads area of Kansas City, hosted a perfect evening with a rooftop cocktail hour, romantically lit dinner, and full dance floor all evening. It was a warm August wedding but guests were so joyful and kind.
The Italian cookie table was all the talk. Laura’s Aunts put together one of the best (and largest) cookie displays you could imagine…but you don’t have to because there’s photos below.
I LOVE lemon bars! This is sorta new for me but I started baking them this past year and I crave them all the time. The lemon bars were phenomenal and now I want some lemon bars for dinner.
It was an absolute joy to work with this sweet couple. The creative team is listed below.
