From every thoughtful detail to each sentimental moment, Kayla and Josh’s wedding is just what I needed after a challenging 2020! It was so wonderful to be surrounded by kind and thoughtful families. Kayla’s radiance and joy is absolutely contagious. We started at one of Kansas City’s newer Crossroad neighborhood venues, Union. The two-story event space is filled with natural light and amazing industrial details. The basement is like a grooms dreamy speak easy just waiting for late night cocktails and vinyl playing in the corner. Everything came together perfectly.
Josh and Kayla exchanged sweet vows at St. Michael the Archangel. Portraits were a breeze being so close to some great locations like Ironwoods Park and Prairie Fire Museum. And we took full advantage of the rooftop at Union for both Kayla and Josh’s first look and sunset portraits. It was a packed dance floor and fun party, ending with some Taco Bell for a late night snack.
My favorite part of the day was their first look. I loved seeing Kayla’s expressions as she knew Josh was walking up behind her. Their genuine and fun personalities were so wonderful to be with all day.
Cheers,
