When a tornado threatens your wedding ceremony, you take the rainbow at the end and thank God for all his wonder. Emily and Adrian had one of the most beautiful AND exciting wedding days. One to remember.
Emily grew up visiting Weston Red Barn Farm as a child and loved the idea of getting married on this farm. Adrian grew up in California and hoped to marry outside. The new Timber Barn at Weston Red Barn Farm was perfect. Both nurses, they met at church and have been together since. But, as Kansas would have it, a downpour and tornado sirens moved their ceremony indoors and they still had a gorgeous ceremony inside the barn. Soon after, the skies cleared and a colorful and delightful rainbow appeared, gracing their wedding portraits!
In marriage, it won’t always be rainbows and butterflies. (There is a family portrait below that includes a butterfly!) It will also be alarmingly hard and plans will change and disappointments may follow. But when you get through it together, you’ll understand each peak is better than the one before and hopefully you’ll get to hold hands with the one you love and find joy in the rainbows. We are put on this earth to learn to love like Jesus and when were called to show that love in marriage, it’s a beautiful thing. Agape.
