I knew from the moment I met Rachel that I’d love the creativity she’d put into her wedding. I always get warm and fuzzy inside when another photographer hires me to photograph them too. Rachel and Scott are two of the sweetest people and it carried right over to their wedding party and guests. And, check out the ceremony arch Rachel’s Dad made. Most of their details were made by Friend, Sam and it was put together beautifully. A true Pinterest-worthy wedding. smile.
It was such an honor for friends, Ashley and Tom to send me to Michigan to photograph their wedding day as well as witness how much these two adore each other. Although they planned their wedding from a distance, both Ashley and Tom personally put together every detail. I have a lot of favorites from this day but one of the best would be the bobble heads Ashley ordered online that you see below. I LOVE it! This whole day was crazy fun. I’m incredibly excited to share Amanda & Zach’s wedding today. Not only were they a dream to work with but they put such hard work into their wedding with every thoughtfully planned detail. The weather was gorgeous and it all come together beautifully. Between where we started, at Zach’s parents home, the ceremony at St. Michael the Archangel, and the reception, Lodge at Ironwoods Park, we were within 5 minutes of everything the entire day. Danielle and Aaron (and their families) are beautiful inside and out. They hosted an amazing popcorn and pop wedding and reception at the gorgeous Town Square in Paola. I find I talk about the weather a lot when I blog weddings but it’s so hard not to when so much depends on the weather. Luckily, Town Square offers tons of natural light and open areas for portraits when the Heavens open up and let the Kansas rains in. We we’re able to get so many awesome portraits indoors and not miss a beat.
