Greater than Gatsby themed wedding

Update:  I have stopped photographing weddings as of December 2021 and became a real estate agent in Kansas and Missouri.  If you’re also searching for a new home together, let’s call it serendipity!   I can also give you some great recommendations for a wedding photographer.  Feel free to schedule a call or reach out at 913-948-3918.  Thanks and happy wedding planning!

Ebony and Jared planned their Intercontinental Kansas City wedding from Georgia where they both live and work together.  These two are beautiful, inside and out, and wear their love where everyone can admire it.  We began at the Intercontinental for getting ready in their separate suites and meeting in the lounge for a first look and gift exchange.  With just a little sprinkle here and there, the day turned gorgeous and we were able to stop by both Loose Park and the Nelson Art Museum for portraits with their wedding ceremony at the Country Club Christian Church in between.  I simply adore vintage cars and decided to ride with Ebony and Jared, after their ceremony, to the Nelson.  Always preferring to be unobtrusive, I try to stay incognito in this tiny vintage car while capturing them in those special moments, some of my favorites, right after saying, “I do.”

Check out the credits below.  There is a full list of top notch professional wedding vendors that helped bring their vision alive.  But, I think the most help came from Ebony’s Mother, Diana Carter.  She was a stylish as she is beautiful.  Oh, did I mention this was a Gatsby themed Intercontinental Kansas City wedding!?  It was amazing.  My favorite part of the day; Jared sang a song, with piano, to Ebony at the Intercontinental reception.  Loved that moment, as did everyone else in the room.
