Garden engagement photos in Kansas City

As if these two high school sweethearts from Sabetha, Kansas don’t have enough going on, she’s graduating next May with her Architect degree and he’s going into his second year of Med school, they’re also planning a wedding for next Summer at Terrace on Grand in downtown Kansas City. So, Kansas City engagement photography was a must. Together now for 5 1/2 years, they will be hosting an elegant wedding with their closest friends and family.

I had an amazing time with Emma and Derek at their Kansas City engagement photography session. We ventured to Kauffman Gardens, they put up with me trying a new location nearby and we ended the session at the Liberty Memorial, where Derek proposed to Emma. The city views are just a small perk to what Liberty Memorial can offer a session including an architectural aspect that suits them well.

Emma seriously just returned from studying abroad in Italy. I may have tried to talk them into an Italy destination wedding or maybe I kept that one to myself but this stylish girl picked up the fashion scene at the very least. I look forward to their May wedding next year and can’t wait to get them in front of my camera again!
