Kylie takes her Dad to a Chiefs game every year for his birthday. It sounds like such a sweet tradition. One that led her to her future husband as well. Kylie purchased two tickets from a mutual friend and ends up sitting next to Tim. Now, this next move I love because it shows Kylie truly as the very gorgeous, inside and out, but clearly smart gal that she is…She gets his number to send a thank you text. Of course, Tim’s smart too and asks her out on a date and here we are four years later.
Kylie and Tim got engaged this past Winter on the Plaza. Tim had her believing she was planning a surprise birthday party for a friend at Brio. For months, they planned this elaborate surprise. As Tim and Kylie were walking from a pre drink at Capital Grill to Brio, he stops her in the middle of the sidewalk and gets down on one knee. Boys, this must be so intimidating. I can’t even imagine. Bravo, Tim, for putting so much effort and thought into those plans. Friends and family watched from the Brio patio and took photos as Kylie said, “Yes!”
By the end of this very darling and fun engagement shoot, Kylie and I were swapping best margaritas and patios in Kansas City and I was texting her my favorite margarita recipe. They are a dream to photograph and so fun to be around. I can’t wait for their Indian Hills Country Club wedding this December.
