It’s funny that Libby and Kevin planned a Kansas City winter wedding because they may be two of the warmest people you’ll meet. Having met as kids and dated exclusively since they were 12, they are so comfortable, with each other, you can’t help but love them. I knew from their engagement session last Summer, they are fun, silly and totally let go in front of the camera, simply enjoying each others company. Its a rare gem that I can’t get enough of and it was our saving grace on their Winter wedding day because we literally had 10 minutes, max, with just Kevin and Libby for portraits. It was this natural ability to relax with each other that gave us so many images from such a short time and race with the Winter evening light.
The creative line up for Libby and Kevin’s wedding was stellar. I’m sure it helps that one of your besties is also a top Kansas City wedding planner, Madison Sanders Events. Pulling double duty is no easy task, speaking from personal experience but she was a rock star. It was an honor to be included on this gorgeous wedding day, work with two amazing people and their friends and family and be a part of such a creative line up.
