I met Courtney this past Fall at Chelsea and Drew’s 28 Event Space wedding and briefly mentioned her on that blog because, well, we had a moment. Anyone who woos me with bundt cake earns brownie points in my book but, honestly, bundt cake points are WAY better. (Hidden ninja tip: I love wedding cake of all kinds) Kudos to Courtney! So, Courtney was the bridesmaid and Tanner was the groomsmen and they’re friends with two very cool people in my book and those who hang out are very much alike! Courtney and Tanner are also two very cool people! We woke early for a gorgeous sunrise engagement session in the Kansas countryside. On the way there, I witnessed a shooting star and knew it would be an epic morning. Shooting stars with Starbucks in hand, c’mon. It was just that, too. Courtney and Tanner met at a wedding where they realized their families were friends and the rest is history. They’re planning a wedding next August at the Ironwoods Lodge in Leawood and I can’t wait to get them back in front of my camera.
