Engagement sessions are one of my favorite things to photograph! It’s such a great opportunity to learn about you as a couple and your wedding plans. When Josh proposed to Kayla, I like to picture it as, he just couldn’t wait any longer. Kayla woke up one morning with a ring in front of her as he asked her to marry him. It was a total surprise. She, of course, said YES!
We planned our Kansas engagement session around the sunset in Shawnee Mission Park and the Lenexa City Center area. It was such a gorgeous night and I must admit, SO fun to be behind the camera more regularly again. With engagement season in full swing now, it’s so fun to be getting to know my 2020 and 2021 wedding couples!
Like so many couples today, Kayla and Josh met online but realized they were both going to the same concert a few days later and met up in person. These two definitely have so much in common. They are also both incredibly kind and fun together. The sunset at this engagement session did not disappoint! Thank you for such a great session!
