Update: I have stopped photographing weddings as of December 2021 and became a real estate agent in Kansas and Missouri. If you’re also searching for a new home together, let’s call it serendipity! I can also give you some great recommendations for a wedding photographer. Feel free to schedule a call or reach out at 913-948-3918. Thanks and happy wedding planning!
Traveling and weddings are two of my favorite things so traveling with my camera to photograph a wedding day in a new and exciting location is my dream day. The mountains have a special place in my heart. My husband and I travel to Colorado every year, often several times, during the Winter months. I had never been to Telluride, Colorado but it quickly became endearing to me. It’s a quaint ski town but we were lucky enough to visit during July for this destination wedding. The Summer in Colorado is a new must! There was no humidity. The windows were open all night. It’s was absolutely gorgeous. My perfect weather, scenery and view!
San Sophia Lookout is amazing. It’s amazing even before the rainbow that appeared over the mountains after a little sprinkle. You and your guests overlook the valley of Telluride while saying I do and then celebrate your vows at your reception in a ranch-like space with a gorgeous outdoor area for dancing under the stars. Taking in the scenery, we did some hiking and sight seeing the next day. If I had to plan my own wedding over, I would most likely be choosing San Sophia Lookout!
