I’ve come to learn that these Sabetha, Kansas girls have amazing taste and style and Emma is the top of the line. I’ve been so excited to photograph this wedding ever since we took their Kansas City engagement photos at Kauffman Gardens and I was able to get to know Emma and Derek better. This time, we were expecting rain and their amazing wedding day coordinator, Vikkie Weisse, was able to get us inside the Kansas City Kauffman Center for portraits. I never wanted to leave and it was simply perfect for Emma and Derek with it’s modern architecture.

Emma and Derek were married at Terrace on Grand in downtown Kansas City. They were high school sweethearts that have shared college and life experiences and now they vow to spend forever together. It was such an honor to document their first day as husband and wife. Every detail was better than I ever imagined.
