It was like walking into a styled shoot when I arrived at Amanda and Kyle’s downtown Kansas City wedding at Urban Event Space in the historic Firestone building. Amanda’s wedding gown was from Gown Gallery and paired perfectly with her feathered Kate Spade heels. The light was exquisite all day long, especially during their rooftop portraits overlooking the downtown Kansas City skyline.
Laid back and lovely all day, Amanda, along with her 4-year-old daughter, Scout, were so fun to photograph during the getting ready part of the day in that room with the large windows, tons of light and plenty of space. Kyle simply adores these two and it was the most obvious, and my favorite, part of their wedding day.
That gorgeous wedding bridal bouquet is from Hyvee in Mission! The stationary above is from Wedding Paper Divas. I brought along the muslin ribbon and wood bowl that holds their rings. The silver tray is from Ultrapom Event Rentals and the background is a couch cushion! 😉
The small hymnal Amanda carried with her bouquet was her Great-Great Grandmother’s.
The flower girls attire was custom made from an Etsy store, with lace and tulle. The heart necklace is a family heirloom passed down from her Great-Grandmother.
Event Planner, Larissa, with Glamourous Galas KC, put together a gorgeous space for the reception with a fun winter theme and decor rentals from Ultrapom.
