Katie and her Mother, along with wedding planner, Patti Gehring, planned a breathtaking wedding day with a Midland Theater wedding reception. They said, “I do,” at Nativity Catholic Church in Leawood, Kansas, enjoyed a tour around Kansas City with their wedding party for portraits and headed to one of the most amazing reception venues I’ve seen in downtown Kansas City. With a gold and silver color scheme, they were classic and beautiful. When you step into the Midland Theater, it’s so amazing my first thought was, “How am I going to do this space any real justice?” It’s massive and putting the band, Flashback, on stage truly makes you feel like you’re at a concert with dinner, steak and crab cakes, from Broncatos, as the opening act.

On to Katie and Matt. Katie is SO incredibly gorgeous. Destined for television, she is the sports reporter for Time Warner Cable.These two were so obviously meant for the other. They are fun and sweet, romantic and silly, all combined.
