Update: I have stopped photographing weddings as of December 2021 and became a real estate agent in Kansas and Missouri. If you’re also searching for a new home together, let’s call it serendipity! I can also give you some great recommendations for a wedding photographer. Feel free to schedule a call or reach out at 913-948-3918. Thanks and happy wedding planning!
I’m so happy to share Dana and Mark’s wedding day at Kansas City’s St. Peter’s Catholic Church. Having only a few hours to capture this intimate wedding, I felt so welcomed by everyone there. Two amazing and kind families were joined together on a gorgeous Fall day. When I arrived, I hadn’t actually met Dana and Mark yet and I actually asked Dana where I could find her! Dana is gorgeous and graceful, sweet and kind. It was no wonder I felt she was the most approachable to ask such a question 15 minutes before the ceremony was set to begin! The intimate guest list consisted of family and loved ones. It was such a joyous occasion. The ceremony at St. Peter’s was gorgeous. I loved this catholic church, inside and out. After some family portraits at St. Peter’s, a dinner was scheduled at Lydia’s and when we arrived, the light was so perfect, we took some portraits right out in front of Lydia’s. Mark was all smiles as he looked upon his bride. It was light, joyful and fun. Three of my favorite things!
Those first moments after a wedding ceremony, that moment of elation, are some of my favorites!
Dana’s bouquet included broaches from family members.
Dana and Mark, Thank you for choosing me to document such a special day. It was an honor to be there and welcomed by your families with kindness. I look forward to sharing the rest of your day with you soon!
